What types of training and behavioural services do you offer?

We provide a range of services including; Behavioural modification, socialisation and desensitisation classes, BAT training, Reactivity & aggression, Obedience training, Specialised programs, Complex Skill development and a range of different Puppy classes (including puppy training, puppy home preparation & socialisation).

We also provide a number of kinds of detailed assessments, SAFER tests and other behaviour & temperament reports.

How long does each session last?

How long each training session takes can vary depending on factors such as what kind of training is required, each clients needs and aims for the class and what the individual nature of the dog is.

With this said, we do try to do our best to accommodate our clients by providing flexible options for those with time constraints and for those who would like slightly longer classes.

Where do training sessions take place?

All initial consults take place in the clients home/where the dog lives most of the time. This is done so that we can get a good understanding of the dog’s environment, family dynamics and other important factors.

And for dogs learning basic obedience or leash manners, their sessions might take place at a more local location close to the client’s home.

However, Follow-up sessions can take place at a range of locations, depending on the training needs of each client.

For dog’s learning agility or scutzhund will have their sessions in a clinic setting

For example: If a client wants to teach a dog to be more comfortable with water training sessions might take place at the Kapala Pet Resort swim lagoon, at the beach or at a local river.

For example; For less complex to moderately complex issues, our Initial assessment consult can last around 2 hours while Standard follow-up training sessions, with existing clients, run for approximately 75 minutes.
